We had a 3 man crew at Westport on Sunday the fishing was
very good it did not take us long to catch our limits of halibut and lingcod.
The day started off with good weather but the wind came up in the afternoon
which made for a long bumpy ride back in.
Now booking spring, summer, and fall, ocean trips at Neah bay for halibut, lingcod , salmon and bottom fish and jet boat and drift boat trips on the washington coast for sturgeon, salmon, steelhead, and trout for more information e-mail me todd@qualstamp.com , text or call 253-208-9142 I look forward to fishing with you!

Neah bay halibut & lingcod
We had a four man crew up at neah bay last week, Chuck G,
Andy M, Peate K, and myself.
The overall bottom fishing was good. We had a mix of both
slow and hot fishing but over all I was very happy with our results. The salmon fishing was very slow so we did not put much effert in to it, but there were a few nice hatchery kings caught by A few that put their time in.

Westport halibut and lings
We had a four man crew at Westport on Sunday.
i was joined by Mike L, Eric C, and Rocky
The weather
was great and so was the fishing.
It was sunny, warm and flat calm all day, the weather could
not have got any better! We were able to catch easy limits of midgrade halibut and limits of very nice lings
We did well on both bait and jigs on Sunday, but the jigs seemed to be working a little better.

Neah Bay Lings
We had a four man crew at Neah bay this weekend. I was
joined by wade B, John L, and Josh S
We had a wide range of fishing conditions this weekend we
saw everything from flat calm, no wind, no current, no drift and hoping for any
type of movement, to very windy, currents ripping and the water so churned up
we couldn’t keep the boat straight.
The overall fishing was good we caught lots of lingcod this weekend and a
few really nice ones but I would have
liked to see a little bigger average size. The rock fish were tough to find
this weekend but when we found them the fishing was hot for nice sized bass.

The overall fishing was also good. We were able to catch limits of nice lings and rock fish but we had to work a bit harder than I expected to get them.

Humptulips 2-9-2013
I fished the Humptulips on Saturday feb 9. The river was at 1,600
cfs with a green tint and 5 feet of vis The fishing conditions seemed perfect, mild temps , good
water level, good vis, and hardly any
fishing pressure. The fishing should have been great but it wasn’t. I scratched up one steelhead and a few cutthroat but the overall fishing was very slow. It feels like we are between runs right now and the the fishing should improve in the next few weeks
