We ended up with limits of very nice halibut and lings with some jumbos mixed in. Both jigs and bait were working well for the halibut and lings. Swim baits and grubs were working best for the bass.

The Big fish were biting at Neah bay!
Mike L , Eric C, Dave B and I had a great weekend at Neah
bay. It’s always fun to see everyone up there. The weather and overall conditions were excellent, sunny
warm and flat seas. We had a mix of very slow to smoking hot fishing but our end results

Great weather at westport
Scott P, Ed T, Pete
C, and myself, fished Westport on Sunday 5-11-14.
The weather conditions were excellent! Flat calm and sunny
most of the day.The overall fishing was very good, but we had some slow times during the day. We caught limits of very nice lings and mid-sized halibut.
We had good results fishing lings with both bait and jigs,
but the bait was out producing the jigs for halibut.

Neah Bay lings and rock fish
We had a four man crew at Neah bay Saturday and Sunday April
26 & 27th
The overall weather
conditions were poor, windy and very rough most of the weekend with rain squalls
at times. Although conditions were poor we had fast action on mid sized lings
with a few big ones mixed in. Pipe jigs and Norwegian jigs were working best
for the lings. The sea bass fishing was also very good it did not take us long
to get our limits each day. we had our best results on small swim baits and
grubs.
THE POT OF GOLD UNDER THE RAINBOW!
March lings at La Push
On Saturday march 22 I
joined Patrick w, John H, and crew out of la push.
The overall weather was very good, about as good as it gets
for march. We has steady action on mid sized lings most of the day with a few
rock fish mixed in. We had our best results on , live bait, pipe jigs, and
darts but also caught a few on grubs.

Thanksgiving Coho
Mark G and I fished the Humptulips on 11/28/13 and the
Chehalis on 11/29/13
The Chehalis was at 2,800 cfs and slowly dropping, even with the low flows the water was still very dirty with only about 2 feet of vis. The overall fishing was fair we hooked 6 nice bright silvers while casting spinner and saw a few others caught.
With this latest blast of rain that came in Sunday the steelhead fishing should be good for the next few days.
The Humptulips was
running at 600cfs very clear and
on a slow drop.
The fishing pressure was very light and it was a good thing
because there did not seem to be many fish around. We had to work at it harder then I would have liked, but we
were able to catch some very nice silvers. Most of our fish were caught while fishing egg and bobbers .The Chehalis was at 2,800 cfs and slowly dropping, even with the low flows the water was still very dirty with only about 2 feet of vis.
