We fished Westport may 10,11 & 12 the overall weather was very good and the
fishing was great we caught a bunch of huge lingcod and mid-grade halibut on
the deep water days and had fast action on bass and smaller lings on the near
shore day. We had our best result using a combination or jigs and bait. Salmon
fishing will be opening at the end of May and the bottom fishing should continue to be
good for the next several weeks.
Now booking spring, summer, and fall, ocean trips at Neah bay for halibut, lingcod , salmon and bottom fish and jet boat and drift boat trips on the washington coast for sturgeon, salmon, steelhead, and trout for more information e-mail me todd@qualstamp.com , text or call 253-208-9142 I look forward to fishing with you!

ilwaco halibut and sable fish
We fished ilwaco may 8th and 9th the overall weather was very good and so was
the fishing. We were able to catch easy limits of mid-sized
halibut and lots of small sable fish with a few bigger ones mixed in. we had
our best results on fresh bait. I expect both the halibut and sable fishing to
continue the be very good for the next several weeks.
I still have a few spots open at ilwaco may 29th
for halibut 3 spots and June 21 halibut & salmon combo 4 spots

Halibut, Lings, & bottom fish
We fished ilwaco Friday , Saturday and Westport Sunday and Monday
The overall fishing this weekend was very good but the
weather was poor most of the weekend.
We had great halibut fishing on Friday at ilwaco. The fish were biting very good and we were
able to get our limits very easily but the weather came in later in the day
which made for a poor bar crossing on the way in. on Saturday we had to wait a while for the
bar to open due to rough conditions and a strong ebb but when it did we had just enough time to
run out and get our fish and get back in before the ebb. The overall ocean
conditions on Saturday were poor windy and choppy but the fishing was very good our biggest halibut of
the day was 51 pounds.
Sunday we fished Westport for lingcod and halibut the lingcod fishing was fantastic! We had very fast action on giant lings. Our biggest Lingcod of the day was 41 pounds and we did not have a small ling in the box. The halibut fishing was also very fast we caught easy limits but were not able to find any monsters. The weather conditions were not perfect on Sunday a stiff breeze from the north made getting to our fishing holes a bit slower then I would have liked. Monday we fished the near shore area out of Westport we had very fast action on black rock fish and were able to get limits very fast. We had to work a bit harder for our lings but we stuck with it and were able to come in with limits of lings and we even landed a bonus halibut that we were able to keep. The wind blew hard from the south late in the day which made for a slow ride in. We had to cancel Tuesdays trip because of weather but I expect the bottom fishing to continue to be good for the next several weeks. I sill have some halibut spots open for this Saturday may 9th 253-208-9142

Neay bay monster April lings!
We had great lingcod and bottoming fishing at Neah bay over
the last two weekends.
we caught limits
of lingcod and rock fish each day and
had some very big ones mixed in.
both jigs and bait have been working great for the lings,
We even caught a large ling on a smaller one that we had hooked. the fishing was so good that we caught three fish with only two hooks, that's right two lings on the same hook! The bass seem to be really grouped up right
now there not everywhere but when we find them they are hitting everything we
drop down, including bare hooks!
We saw a wide range of weather over the last week one day it
was flat and glassy the next it was downright nasty I expect fishing to continue to be very good
for the next few weeks.
I still have some open halibut and bottoms fish days in the next few weeks.
