Neah bay lingcod and bottom fish

We had a great week at Neah bay

The  fishing was fantastic , we had very fast action on big lings and rock fish,

The overall water conditions were a bit bumpy but it did not affect the fishing at all.

We had our best result on jigs and grubs .

westport,tuna, salmon and bottom fish

We had a good time at Westport this week

The overall weather and water conditions were good but it was a bit breezy at times

The tuna fishing has been hot! but it has been a long run to get to them, live bait and the troll were both working well for us.

The  salmon fishing at westport this week was  slow but there were some nice fish around if you were willing to work for them, ocean salmon in Washington is now closed for the year.

the bottom fishing was  good this week, we had to look around a bit to find them but once we found them it was super hot.

westport tuna!

The tuna fishing has really picked up in the last few day.

The fishing on Sunday and Monday was red hot and they are getting closer every day!

( fish are within 40 miles of westport)

There are tons of fish out there right now and they are spred across a big area, the fishing is very good right now and I expect it to stay that way for a long time!

We are catching fish on live bait , troll gear and irons

Neah bay salmon, lingcod , Cabazon, and rockfish!

We had a great time a Neah bay this week

The overall weather and fishing was very good

The water was nice and flat with very little wind.  we did have some thick fog and mist at times but overall the weather was great

We were able to catch limits of salmon and bottom fish every day

We had hot action for silvers with some mind sized kings mixes in.

The overall rock fish bite was good but we did have to move around a bit to find the biters at times

The lingcod fishing was hot one day then slow the next with some very nice near shore lings being caught

We were also able to catch an unusual number of big Cabazon  this week

Salmon fishing is closing on the USA at neah bay after this Sunday, But those willing to get Canadian licenses can fish the Canadian side and still bring salmon back to neah bay
