big halibut, big lingcod and big rockfish at neah bay!

We had a great week at neah bay

The overall weather and water condition were downright nasty at times, but we battled throw it and caught some great fish!

The fishing was very good when we were able to get to where we wanted to be, but even when we couldn’t we still caught some great fish.

The overall bottom fishing is very good right now and I expect it to get even better over the next month.

Neah bay halibut, lingcod, and bottom fish!

We had a great time at Neah bay this week

The overall weather and water conditions were  great this week sunny and calm most days. ( felt more like July then may)

The overall fishing was good, at times the fishing was so hot you could not even get to the bottom at other times we had to work for each bite.

Over all the halibut fishing was good with limits each day, we really had to work to find the big ones ( our biggest for the week was 96 pounds)

The lingcod fishing was a bit slower than normal with lots of rock fish mixed in, but there were still plenty of nice lings around for those willing to work at it.

The bottom  fishing was out outstanding with limits of huge rock fish each day.

We caught most of our fish on jigs this week but , did get some of our biggest ones on bait.

I expect the fishing to continue to be very good for the next several weeks.

Neah Bay lingcod & rockfish

The overall fishing at neah bay was good this weekend but the weather conditions were very poor on Friday and Sunday

We had fast action on  lingcod and bottom this week

Very strong winds and rough conditions made fishing challenging but we were able to battle through it and get limits of nice lingcod and rock fish each day

The fishing at Neah bay this week was excellent

We had very fast action on big lings and lots of bottom fish each day

We saw a little bit of everything weather wise , one day it was nasty and blowing and the next is was nice and calm

I expect the fishing to remain good as long as the weather allows us to get out.

The  fishing was fantastic , we had very fast action on big lings and rock fish,

The overall water conditions were a bit bumpy but it did not affect the fishing at all.

We had our best result on jigs and grubs .

westport,tuna, salmon and bottom fish

We had a good time at Westport this week

The overall weather and water conditions were good but it was a bit breezy at times

The tuna fishing has been hot! but it has been a long run to get to them, live bait and the troll were both working well for us.

The  salmon fishing at westport this week was  slow but there were some nice fish around if you were willing to work for them, ocean salmon in Washington is now closed for the year.

the bottom fishing was  good this week, we had to look around a bit to find them but once we found them it was super hot.
