We had a four man crew at Neah bay this weekend.
The overall weather conditions were on the poor side. Strong tides contributed to the ever
changing ocean conditions, one minute
the ocean was nice and calm and the next it was down-rite nasty. We had a mix
of hot and slow fishing this weekend but finished with limits of both salmon
and rockfish each day. when the bite was on it was fast Coho action with a few
kings mixed in when things slowed down we really had to scratch for them. The best
bites seemed to be early morning and
late afternoon. Most of our chinook were a bit on the small side but we kept
after it and were able to come up with a few good ones. We had good results
this weekend running both hoochies and cut plug herring
