We had a 5 man crew at Westport this weekend. The overall
weather was good, the wind did come up Sunday afternoon, and we did have fog at
times.
The overall fishing was good. There seemed to be good
numbers of tuna around. We saw scattered
schools of tuna from 124.37 to 125.10 the bigger fish seemed to be in the green
water on the inside while the quantities seemed to get better the farther we
went out. We even caught a few tuna and Coho on the same bait stop!
The salmon fishing seemed very good! We did not put much effort
into salmon fishing this weekend but we had great results on both kings and silver while fishing in 380
feet, 200 feet down on the riggers while
trolling flashers and spoons.
