Our overall results for the extended weekend were very good we caught 134 tuna in 3 days.
Our weekend started very slow, Saturday the ocean was rough and so was the fishing.
On Saturday we headed back to the area that had been good the week before but things had really dropped off, we did not have our first bite till after noon on Saturday but we kept grinding at it and were a able get a few troll fish and a few bait fish before the bite died again around 3 pm
We ended the day with 11 hard earned tuna.
On Sunday the weather improved and so did our fishing. We dropped bait on jumpers on the way out and had 30 by 11 am but the bite died at 1am and we ended the day with 44 tuna all on live bait.
Monday was great fishing for us we caught 79 tuna on two
bait stops and one troll fish on a cedar plug . our second bait stop was epic!
59 fish and it could have been a lot more if we had not run out of bait! Fish
were waiting for our baits at the edge of the boat! Tried trolling the area but
could not get anything to hit.
