The Humptulips was running at 600cfs very clear and on a slow drop. The fishing pressure was very light and it was a good thing because there did not seem to be many fish around. We had to work at it harder then I would have liked, but we were able to catch some very nice silvers. Most of our fish were caught while fishing egg and bobbers .
The Chehalis was at 2,800 cfs and slowly dropping, even with the low flows the water was still very dirty with only about 2 feet of vis. The overall fishing was fair we hooked 6 nice bright silvers while casting spinner and saw a few others caught.
With this latest blast of rain that came in Sunday the steelhead fishing should be good for the next few days.
