We fished Neah bay MAY 14,15,16,17 the overall weather was
great and the fishing was very good. On the deep water days we did very well on
big lingcod and also had limits of halibut. The halibut fishing was a bit
slower this week then what I am use to but we did not have any trouble getting
our limits. We had our best results on the halibut with bait and the lings were
biting best on the jigs.
On the near shore days we had very fast action on the bass
with light tackle and were able to jig
up small to mid-sized lings on jigs tipped
with bait.
It is always fun to see so many great and friendly people at Neah bay!
I expect the fishing to be very good again this week.
